After having so many events around here being cancelled due to rain and the few I’ve been able to attend wind up looking like This: Very happy to get out this morning for a good long ride in the countryside. Hope you were able to enjoy some nice road time as well!
Looks like fun! You really didn't have to paint match your wheels and engine bits to the gas station bollards, but nice touch!
I need to be getting mine out on the road but down here in Tennessee it’s hot as ever and the humidity can be cut with a knife. Nice to see you being able to enjoy the nice weather in a very cool hot rod!!
Definitely felt good to get out and collect some insect specimens on my windshield. Actually, I think the gas station needs to update there color scheme. I get that re heat and humidity. We get a fair amount here too. Early morning is a great time to avoid it somewhat.
You wuss. I drove the '34 around for about an hour this morning. Come in with a case of swamp ass. It is kinda warm and humid here.
It has been very dry around these parts for the last couple of months. We had a family reunion at one of my wife's relatives farm today, about 30 miles east of our home. According to the lady of the house, they have not had any rain at their farm since March 13th. Just as the festivities was winding down, it started to rain pretty good. They were some very happy people! Its been pretty dry around here as well. We finally got some rain tonight as well. It too was quite a relief.
Yeah I know I’m a prima Donna but still…… I used to roll my eyes at folks that wouldn’t take their hot rod out if the a/c wasn’t installed or charged yet but now I kinda see their point I don’t mind glistening here or there just not like a pig
