    my next move will be a closed cooling system...they do better when they can expand the coolant and suck it back in as it cools..

    I think switching the fan was a major help . You’re headed to ice land now !

    the fan was switched be fore I ever drove it... it was when I put the 4 core bigger radiator... and before the new motor...

    I have same engine in my 32 , no overheating issues . You have way more radiator than in the 32 .

    yes... back to zero light... all in 30 degrees.. new new pointless dist...

    the other thing...old style radiator you can 't fill to the top or they spit coolant... have to leave room for expansion..

    but it is working very well for 120 degrees out..

    new motor and runs cool now... alot was the no ground on the gauges...the shroud helped a ton...

    as far as the car.... it's getting stripped right now to paint it black...

    she's to bare metal naked right now..getting the metal work done, and should be in primer next week.... car had 7 paint jobs on it.so thick it cracked like bondo in spots.. no real body damage... a few pressure dents here and there..

    It's setting in first primer now...gotta get the 58 finish while it shrinks


    also wanna see if I can get salt flat wheels to fit....wheels are staying if I have swap rear ends..

    15x7 front, 3 1/2” backspace 225/60 15. 15x7 rear, 4 1/2” backspace. 235/60 15’zs. Really tight. Measure yours first, carefully. I had to move the rear over 1/4” in back to center it. Tight on upper front ball joint in front. No skirts. American Salt Flats

    thanks for the post.... I'm gonna have to take a tire off and see what would fit...I need to move the rear 1/4 also
