I’m wondering if the 55 Pontiac is of Canadian origin as they used many Chevy parts back then.

Nope, googled photos of 55 Canadian Pontiacs. Engines,chassis, and the shorter bodies but no dash’s

 

@Moriarity , I'm pretty sure that yellow 57 chevy belongs to an old friend. He's had it since about high school, nearly 50 years now. Its always been yellow and its always been that nice. Say hi to Greg for me
