Remember the 1/25 scale AMT Trophy Series plastic kits? I do! The Traditional Rods And Kustoms In Scale website is asking folks to build and show one. Here's a mock-up of my AMT Trophy Series '36 Ford. The front will be a little higher to emphasize the taildragger stance and the rear fenders will probably have skirts.

Right now I’m building this 49’ merc for a school project. Still working on the hemi, gonna add a custom grille and chop the roof.
This one I got for $8 from a market and finished it. It came with spare custom grille, headlights, back bumper and taillights.
Took some leftover coupe and sedan parts to build a 40 standard coupe,used 95 percent 60s parts to do this quickie build.
All positive. Stay with it. Here is mine finished last year. 5 window kit. Original Cal Custom candy blue.
Some really cool builds going on at your place! That Magenta color looks spot on. What did you use for it? I'm building a later issue kit, the bubble top is a weird pink tint. I've had it out in the sunshine, trying to loose a bit of the color. A yellow clearcoat later should get me the correct orange tint if I'm lucky.
experimenting with rust, I'm making a "beater". Sawdust and a mixture of brown and orange matte acyrilic paint makes a good one. Could also be used for mud as well.
