It took me 7 months to put the pile of parts back together after sitting apart for 65 years. I tried not to change much from the way the guy built it in the 50s. Its small and weird but its my first old rod and im enjoying driving it.
Wheeltramp- just recently got ito this world so I did my best to identify all of the different parts it was made from. 29 roadster, body channeled 6 3/4 total, chopped, shortened and slid forward on z'd frame. Front suicide mount. Juice brakes, 39 pedals. 55 olds 324, 40s? 78 series ford 3 speed, stock A rearend (shortened) , newer trailing arms. 47 plymouth radiator support, 34 ford truck grille, 50 pontiac tail lights. I think thats most of it.
I was originally done with a late 40s chevy truck box on a stand above the frame, inside the car with about a 11 inch long pitman arm. Thats why the cowl side was cut out in the original pic. It had no leg room whatsoever so i changed it to an F1 box
Ill probably make it as driveable as i can. It wasnt a well built car, more like some young kids wanting to go fast by cutting it down as far as they could. It was painted silver with red accents at one time but ill probably just keep it as it is
