Had a stimulating Sunday, sat with a couple of guys deep into their eighth generation holding court at the local car show. Here are some of the cars I spied on my walk about. Tried to stick to the traditional hot rods, no restored cars, no rats, less billet. As usual tried to get the three shots per car, but that came off the rails. First off, 29 roadster, EJ headlights, 37 flattie, 3 in the tree, wide 5 wheels and Wrangler upholstery .
Some single shots of pickups, the red 34 Ford, again is a Chrysler retiree. Couple of Mercury trucks in the mix. Not sure why these didn’t go to full image, oh well.
Thanks, looks like a nicely shaded place for the show. I went to a cars n coffee Sat., stayed an hour or so, and looked like I had done a morning work out by the time I got home. Brutal!
There was a sort of humorous moment when the lawn sprinklers went off on the power parked corvette assemblage, this survivor early example was not parked with them.
It was hot, hazy and humid, we had rain overnight, but it was slightly overcast. Our crew remained well hydrated.
Mini tub on the rear , and stretched the rear quarters out three inches to accommodate the rearend and rubber.
That mural is pretty much a standout, but I think that I was just focused on all the cars, maybe next year I will pay more attention.
