It might seem like a boring and tedious task, but it is important that it is done........ regularly.:D

You know, now that I think about it, you are right. Better test it again tomorrow.

You can't be too careful. It's always best to be sure....

Is the next level of weld testing going to be on a prepped track to see what happens when you let go of the transbrake button?

Looks like a great truck in the making!

Just make sure you really do inspect the welds after the test.
We have all seen the unpleasant results of the guys that failed to inspect the welds after the test, and discovered their error with a publicly displayed weld failure at a later date.

Soon enough…soon enough. Unfortunately I’ll be pulling it back apart for bodywork and paint now. Transbrake! I don’t mess with automatics, too boring….its a good old Hurst line lock. And thank you, its been a very long time in the making, but I am tickled pink at how its coming out.

Absolutely…don’t want to leave the rear end 100 yards behind the truck!

Welp…don’t have any money left to pay with after this build. But you’re more than welcome to come have a cold one and test some welds.

That might be an even more brutal weld test.....with a 5,000 RPM clutch dump.

Best wishes on continuing the build.

That is upcoming, trying to ease the clutch into the brutality it will face in its lifetime.
