Squirrel I read this thread. Can’t believe you were able to move so fast on the assemble. I’m assembling a 62 for a friend. I’ve done lots of tri five cars. This is the hardest car I’ve ever done. It’s slow going back together. Finally got the windows working but the repop feather strips along the glass look like junk. Have the dash ready I think/ Hope is ready to glue down. The underside picture you show tells me how to ste up Ebrake cables. I used blue wall anchors to fix screw holes in the fiberglass. After the dash comes the dash wiring. I don’t fit the floor pan very well. Enjoyed the thread

My Grandmother and Father were born in Antilope before settling in the Willamette Valley. There's a little cemetery next to the church with some of my ancestors.

The old Dial Saloon in Antelope sounds neat!
    Edit:
I looked it up on Google maps, it sure needs some help!

Well, the Saab is in the 900s, the Hudson is in the 800s and you're in the 700s. However, the rows don't seem to jibe, so who knows?

    Have a blast, Jim.

Near Otter Rock is the Devils Punchbowl and a ways south from there is Devils Churn, near Yachats. A nice drive down the 101!

Edit: but you'll probably go west on 126 to Eugene & up the 101. Big loop!

Here's the Skookum sign in my home town of Wenatchee Wa., it is motorized so that it winks an eye on a regular bases. Sits on top of a building and is probably 12' high, been a land mark for as long as I can remember................................

    Hey S,

The W.D.I.F.L. website has a nice Corvette model for sale. The giant WDIFL garage sale for all things racing memorabilia is now on a "clear them out" sale. When I saw it, it reminded me of your red Corvette.

    Bravo @squirrel
    Job well done!
Maybe the rooster shirt in the Tacoma Screw paper sack, brought you some good luck!
    Congratulations from Dennis!

I'm glad that's not you in the background of this picture. Apparently there were no restrooms in the area . . . o_O

Well done on your 1st place finish. Skookum job there! :D

In the jargon in my part of the West Coast, Skookum means big, or great. Chuck is a body of water.
So Skookumchuck means the ocean, which we also often call the "Salt Chuck".

Just so you know, as a retiree of FOSS Maritime Company, the parent company is titled "Saltchuk".

Congratulations @squirrel and you did it all on your own with no navigator.
Can you post the final score sheet as I'm interested in how the Saab and the Hudson went.
