i have that copy of the magazine and recognized the car right away. i presume the gent is no longer with us and i still love that photo of his buddy and he in the first car.

I have been racing it in southern PA at drag race events and some exhibition dirt track events. This weekend I will be trying to fit some hood sides on for my next dirt event at Williams Grove on Sept 6.

The car is a lot of fun and I take it to work often. Powered by a Dodge slant 6

Recent picture, I don’t know when this was built but it doesn’t seem to have anything on it that’s offensive to this thread. The photo made me want one, bad. No monster tires, no blower, chrome T shell, and the driver sits down in it and has a windshield in front of his face. I’d like to see more of it.
