This picture reminded me of an old Royal Legion hall that was on the out skirts of the town I grew up in. My friends and I would go there on Friday nights when they would have all you can eat pasta night for five dollars. Some of the guys stopped bringing their girlfriends with them because the old guys would want to sit at our table so they could talk to them and it would creep out the girls.
Perfect example of what “custom” wheel applications were up to the 60’s when chrome and bolt on spoke wheel came out…that’s for you “period correct” guys.
