Just about done wiring up my 34 pickup that has a set of BLC 682j headlight buckets. Will be using the old school asphalt impregnated cloth wire loom to cover the wires from rad shell to the buckets.

What do folks use to secure the wire/loom on inside of the buckets to keep them from pulling out?

I saw on OTBgear website a picture of a clip that looks like a narrow strip of metal folded over from both ends over the loom.

I have vintage aircraft metal loom on mine and use a small aluminum collet inside (with a rubber grommet). They make plastic collets that if properly sized would hold the loom/wires from pulling out......but so would a tight fitting rubber grommet and some over sized tape wraps.

A large zip tie would do it. Those metal clips just barely hold the wiring sleeve in the bucket. If you want to be original, make some out of aluminum sheet so you can fold it over easily and it would rust inside the bucket. The originals seem to be galvanized or have some phosphate coating on them.
