Interesting that Twig and Kenney have consecutive NHRA license numbers.

 

Lived in the same county too!

 

Not as surprising as you might think. If I remember it correctly, the first number was the division number. Division 6 was the northwest. Division 7 was southwest (primarily California). There were a lot more racers in Cali than the PNW, so consecutive numbers wouldn’t be all that surprising. I think the regions have been realigned since then.

 

Jim was a friend of mine. Our dads knew each other.
