Hey guys I have a BUNCH of pulleys I'm sorting through. This is the first that I'm a little stumped on and it won't be the last. I'll add to the thread as I come across others in hopes of figuring out what they fit. Today's mystery pulley is a single groove water pump pulley that is stamped "ECB-D", has a 5/8" Pilot, 1-3/4" center to center 4 bolt pattern, 7-1/4" O.D. and measures 2-5/16" from mounting surface to rear face. I believe it's for a Ford Y block but am not certain. Any of you guys know what it fits and what it's worth? I appreciate your guys help and hope that someday I can find a home for all these pulleys I've got sitting around. Thanks!
I saw that one but when I search for a 55 T Bird water pump pulley, it shows what appears to be a two piece riveted example. I suppose engine size or accessory options may be the variable here if that's the case?
The HAMB can actually identify a pulley? Man... that's pretty darn good. How'd you guys do it? Just by sight alone? Did you go by the number?
That’s nothing, these guys can tell you what a rusted striped out bolt would go on and where it was used with torque specs if need be It’s the power of the HAMB
The Ford part number on the pulley from the mid 50s is the first clue...then just go searching the internets.... To verify, it's handy to bring up old auctions on Bring-a-Trailer, as they usually have the best detailed pictures of old cars. Like this
