Ah, that's what we were talking about the other day. Sucks! That intake was dirty anyway. Time for a nice, clean one.

Plug wires, hooking up gauges and a pvc system ( it had an open 3/8” vacuum hose going into the oil fill tube and a rag in the road draft opening) and a new power valve. 33 Chevy belongs to my friend Kerry. He has owned it since 64 and it was on the cover of the first issue of street rodder

Thanks, I appreciate it, but I had another one sitting right next to the car. Everything is back on, new Vintage Speed carb bolted up waiting for a different inlet fitting. That car is going to Lloydfest III if I've got to trailer it.

I've been trying to learn some 3d CAD. My head hurts now so I'll be working on a beer or 2.

My brother and I are trying to make a '33-34 Ford frame. Got a full length 6"x4" pipe for $250, split it in half to make two rails. Pic below where we cut out for the first bend and tonight we got it done! (also made a sheet metal pattern and tacked it under the rail to follow)

Don’t know how my school people would like that even though one of the schools in our county are the Blue Devils. So we’re going with c2-10 for now:)
Today was the first time we actually set the parts together to see how it lines up.
    Not bad.
As soon as we wrap up a couple projects we’ll do some more mocking up.
The cab needs a serious section and narrowing

After ordering the new carb fitting, I walked out to the garage and there were two brand new ones sitting loose in a box of stuff:). Organized, I gotta get organized:mad:.

Time to find out what the ol girl can do with all of it's new equipment, been a long 12 years since it and me have been down the track. Hopefully it goes straight and stops on this short shutdown track and we come back home in one piece.
