Not a fan of bright yellows but admit some cars look good in it.
But... I do own a "I call" a soft yellow OT car, black vinyl top and interior, 2nd gen cuda, owned for 28 years, still do.

It is nice to see cars in different colors. I think lots of yellow cars look nice. When I retired, I worked at a dealer selling Lexus cars. I had to laugh when I would show customers a gray car and they would say "what a beautiful color".

I've had 3 cars painted, one was Yellow (original color) and I've painted one vehicle, School Bus Yellow which is leaning toward Orange. Both are in the OT section.
When talking about car lots and superstitions about color, the word that leaps to mind is MAROON. :D

The car in the lead photo is I believe Oldsmobile rallye 350 yellow from 1970.
    I think it looks pretty good on a 33 coupe 20250726_192220.jpg 20250526_104243.jpg

We all have our definition of cool.....and mine sure as hell doesn't take into consideration what he would think.;) Your car is already cool:cool:....regardless of what color you use.

Absolutely I think we all like it when someone appreciates our stuff. However someone liking or approving of my car is not a requirement for me and shouldn’t be for anyone else either.

In my book, this is one of the finest yellow cars ever built. I can’t imagine it any other color.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the contrasting wheel color?
    Thanks for posting the photo@34Phil

I like the Fruehauf yellow. It is my favortie shade. If I am not mistaken that was a corporate color for the now defunct Fruehauf Trailer Company which manufactured semi trailers.
