    Hello,

Early drag racing had a certain look. Whether it was hours of cutting and welding or borrowing a nose to fit a body, just so it would look similar to the original. In the Altered Class, just about everything was involved in the build. A 25% motor set back, free flowing exhausts, roll bar and most had center steering. There was no need for a passenger seat.

The difference between the A/Altered class and the other classes, B, C, were the size of the motor related to the weight of the car.

But, the driver had to be in front of the rear axle to qualify, otherwise the same car with the driver behind the axle would be placed in the Competition Coupe Class.

Since there are no other photos of the original Fiat Coupe in color, here is a version for the local car show circuit... YRMV

Haven’t posted anything in a while as I have been doing some “Christmas present” drawings of my neighbours amazing musclecars. Here are a couple of my older drawings IMG_3446.jpeg IMG_3019.jpeg IMG_3468.jpeg

As cool as Jeff's artwork is, its always cool to see the real car as well, so this is just to show what the real car is.
    Thanks from Dennis.

Badass. If you happen to have a copy of the printed "Jalopy Journal #2", @Ryan wrote an article about that car called "What's Your Business" that's a great piece.
And speaking of "badass", not sure it's really art but I did an award for a local event. Repurposed an old picture frame, mounted it on a faux/fake weathered wood base with the printed award in the frame and a metal plate for the magnetic event dash plaque. The image on the award is AI generated and purchased through a stock agency.
One of the other club guys picked it - the one we'd least like to pull up next to at a stoplight. Sorry, no pics - the winner is badass alright but totally O/T.

Great stuff again this week, thanks guys!

Hey @rusty1, that thought actually crossed my mind as I was searching. We would never see some of your little friends if they were lurking in the darkness of the shed. Thanks for inviting us to another interesting location for an alien hunt. We are already looking forward to next week's hunt!

Thanks also to all of the other HAMB artists! The art show is always a great way to start the weekend!

It appears that everyone has failed to recognize that @rusty1 has cleverly disguised the light fixture over the shed door which is actually a classic flying saucer that is in a dive to the left with a bent antenna!
Zoom into the picture and check it out!
So that makes the count at 11 Aliens and 1 well disguised modified flying saucer!
    Thanks from Dennis!

By the way… I count 12 and I think the barn light/saucer observation is pretty cleaver.I think people are missing the dude at the bottom, hiding behind the (Screen left) side of the overturned barrel.
there is a notch in the wild with a bit of glare obscuring him.Tell me I’m wrong Sam aka @rusty1

Okay, I’m probably wrong but it sure looks like an angry miscreant. Seems pissed that the barrel fell on his legs and nobody’s doing shit to help a brother out…

I keep counting 11 aliens, that includes the one by the overturned barrel.
So I am going to stick with the count of 11 Aliens and one Flying saucer/potential light fixture.
    Everyone's results may vary greatly!
    Thanks from Dennis.
Yes, there is an Alien perched upon the top of my hat!
