This is where mine lives now. The video was made when it just had the little 377 ci engine. Chris King sent a video of it with my old 413 running around a Bonneville a year or so ago but I can't find it right now.

My buddy and I pulled it out of a truck that was converted to run a ball mill for a mining outfit on the Comstock Lode near here. Our plan was a cheep and easy lakester build for Bonneville vintage engine glass but it was too big for the vintage classes. They have a 375 ci limit. For the regular laster class the record was close to 300mph and tires alone would cost over $3000! We had an Honest John missile nose cone and other pieces. But yes it is big and heavy.

They made them in a radial version, Chrysler multi-bank.

From wiki - The Chrysler A57 Multibank is a 30-cylinder 1,253 cu in (20.5 L) engine that was created in 1941 as America entered World War II. It consists of five banks of inline-6 cylinder engines.

I love an ad that says "needs carb work"....

We should all get together and fix all the carbs that need work and flip those cars. We'd be rich.

Does anyone actually believe all these cars need is carb work? If you paid a few hundred to have a carb fixed or replaced and could get another grand out of it, who wouldn't do that?

    Lol. Always cracks me up...

"Needs carb work" definition: "I've fucked the timing up, got the distributor 180 out, got the idle and enrichment screws all fucked up, and the timing chain is off by three teeth one way or the other..."

The Vauxhall is really neat. It's so different, and judging from the Beetle next to it, very small. Big project, maybe a good one for a drivetrain swap. It kinda looks like what one of those crappy AI programs would come up with if you just told it to draw you a rusty 50's car.

Being as the original engine made 55 bhp I would think a drivetrain swap would be in order.

Shame it's not a 2 door. Small, light economy car it would naturally fit into the Gasser category with a transplant. I have a feeling it's unibody backed up here, which makes it tougher.

I can help with that…… (I didn’t know how to block the OT wheels but it has Halibrands all around now. Just close your eyes and imagine like that)
496” Mopar wedge, TorqueFlight and 8 3/4. They look like a mashup of mid 50s GM styling ques.
