Event Coverage LLOYDFEST III.... SEPTEMBER 5TH-7TH 2025

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Lloyd's paint & glass, Jan 6, 2025.

  1. @Lloyd's paint & glass, Well maybe it will work as a kick in the ass for me too! Sometimes I need that or maybe have my head examined:rolleyes:.

Got some time & ambition today, working on the white truck with the thought of using it to pull the trailer down to LF III only to give the dually a break....Its tongue is hanging out after all the coast to coast trips:p. Monday I will start getting Stubby straightened out! Also want to take the GP over to the License/Title Bureau for the out of state inspection & title transfer/plate so I can start driving it some before the snow flies! Realistically it takes me 2 days after coming off the road to get back to normal, so the next 2 weeks should be productive!

    God Bless

I understand man. I don't have to go to the firehouse anymore, but I also lost that income  I've been busting my ass in the shop Monday- Friday, trying to enjoy my weekends, and use that time for my car. I've been working late in the evenings so that I can get stuff done on my car also. I've got my 16 year old this weekend, we're laying at the house right now, but we're gonna go put the right door and fender on the car shortly. I'm usually a one man band, but today I've got help! Tmrw I'm making the trip to get the gate and hatch, and maybe the windshield garnish. Gotta stay motivated!!

We'd love to have you here! Last year I got a call that just said TEXAS and a number. It was Mike Neely, he said hey man I just got off the interstate, where do I go? All the way from Denton Texas! That just tickles the shit out of me!

  5. Proud to be one of the original Lloydfest Crazies & wear my '23 & '24 shirts all the time! Teased Laura the other day when she asked what I was planning on wearing to one of her "Hoity Toity" relatives wedding, I naturally said....Jeans, boots & a Lloyfest T-shirt:p. I didn't but it was fun teasing her! LMAO!!!!

Those shirts are some of my very favorite shirts, so I very seldom wear them. I only wear them on special occasions. I want them to stay "new" for a long long time.

However, I'll be wearing both of them in a couple of weeks.

  10. I cherish both of my Lloydfest shirts, but I wear them at least 3-4 times a month. You have to remember, I’m in a company uniform 5 days a week, and never wear a LF shirt to work in.

  11. Hey that hurts:p

    Lloyd,

Give us a time to show up at Irish Hills. We're 9 hours away so we'd like to make a plan for what time to leave home.

Also whether to abide by posted speed limits or not.

    Thank You!
I've been to Kentucky a dozen times, the only time I've seen a cop, was when he had someone else pulled over. That has probably saved my butt a few times. Maybe one of those times was because you found the cop for me. :D

  25. Well Danny @HOTRODPRIMER ....The 3rd time is the charm!

You & Brenda should take a ride up & join us at LF III. You guys are only 17 miles further away from it than we are. Hop on the highway, make a left at White Horse Rd. & head north.:D I know this because back when I used to be down there every other week for years, my last stop was S&M Auto Parts on 29 & I came home that way almost every time.

    God Bless

It doesn't matter to me. Those of you that are coming in on Thursday can discuss what works best. I would guess around 7 though?
