This truck is being restored at where I work.

 

Cool - is it a International - GMC or ?

 

Diamond T chassis and will get some pics,the whole wood structure has been replaced.

 

Restoration, or improvement? My first thought was to jack up the body and roll a modern chassis under it.
Then it would make a dandy motorhome to pull a trailer with a vintage race car from track to track.

 

A Restoration on the body but updated drivetrain.

 

Now thats a shame, look at that fancy dash .

 

Think it is a -48 ish,,,,,

 

Any progress with this ?

This desert hulk has me stumped! I've tried comparing it to every pre '55 car and none get me a match.
Any ideas?

 

‘53 Dodge. Trim is one of the giveaways.

 

I missed comparing it to a '53 Dodge. I was comparing '54 & '55 Mopars as well as the miscellaneous independents of that era.

Oh Good Lord! A '48 Nash Ambassador Brougham Convertible!! RARE, RARE, RARE!! One-year production, with only around 900 built!!!

 

I was going to "like" j hansen's post with this poor '56 Chevy but I just couldn't do it. I don't like this car at all. No sir!, not one bit!

I think this thing is truly hideous.
