I always thought Mark started the burgundy car after selling the orange car.
Curious, your connection to Mark, I never met him, even when I was at an event when he was there, I never saw anyone around it (other than the photogs).
Man, he has an eye, heard it was a "didn't fall far from the tree" kind of deal, the orange car stops me in my tracks still when I see it in my old magazines.
He really connected with the right people to build that car, some big SoCal guys.
U-Wish, such a perfect plate.

 

And built with just that one crescent wrench on the wall, remarkable. Sure saves on pegboards and tool chests.

He bought the orange 32 back at the beginning of summer.
His dad Jim lived down the street from me.
Everyone knows or knows of the car guys in town. Longview isn't that big.

I really like my 32 roadster as a historic hot rod, and my 5 window as a no shit hot rod, and I am hoping to love my 3 window as a driver once its done.All 32 fords are the best of all time, and I am very blessed to be the custodian of a few for my time on this rock.

 

The High Points are certainly a distraction. UH.......UH.... Concentrate.........UH... Oh yeah. That's a Model A.

I have to say while I may not favor the 5 window, that Flathead car, that color, that white roof insert/interior/firewall/whitewall, that brick backdrop...what a picture of a very nice car!
