7pm works for us but we'll be trying to get there by 6ish to chat with any other early arrivers.

  3. Hey Mike,

7:00PM would work great for us!

I am going to get there as early as I can get Laura's Butt going on Thursday Morning as the cancer meds wear her out quickly & the ride down will do the same. I am hoping to dump Stubby & the trailer off at the park between 3&4PM, take the truck up to the cabin, get settled in & let her nap for an hour or two. That way she will not be miserable at dinner.

Really getting wound up now, my thought process on Stubby was all about electrical when in reality it was fuel, so as I type I am waiting for parts to come in a couple hours. Hopefully that cures the issue. Turns out it was nothing I even touched which is why I went the other direction! LOL

    God Bless
    Bill

    Danny,

You really should come. You're about a half hour closer than Sherry and me.

No you're fine, but there's no hookup, it's just a small-ish park. You can pull onto a level spot and rock & roll. There will be a porta potty. I'm no longer an employee of Montgomery County fire, so i do not have access to the fire station.

We are still hoping to pull in Thursday afternoon. Seven will be fine for us also. Motor Home is in Detailing Shop at the moment. Should pickup on Friday and get it loaded and ready to roll over the weekend. Lois gets her 3rd gel shot in her knee Tuesday morning and we'll be hitting the road by 10 or 11am.
I might do a Car Show on Saturday and load car on trailer Sunday, if I have everything else squared away.
Everyone be safe as you drive to LLOYD FEST III. See you there. Ron

I don’t see us making it this year. :(
We have the house up for sale. I have a feeling we’ll be dealing with realtors, buyers and movers for the next two straight months.

    Ah; youth.

Well, one of the very few nice things about getting old is that you seldom have an obligation at a specific time/date.

Unless you're foolish enough to voluntarily take on commitments like driving a school bus. What was I thinking?

I wasn't very patient with my own children. There's no way I could try to corral 50 of them.

  17. It takes a very special person to drive school buses. I couldn’t do it, but I did work on them for 7 years. My Wife Tonya drove a wheel chair bus for 4 years.

Brenda & I are making plans to go to Belleville, Michigan to see our first great-grandson next month and going to Sylvester, Georgia for our eldest grand-daughters wedding the next weekend.

So Greg; are you driving the Ford PU or the convertible? We'd like to see either of them.

Driving the 56 F100, '58 Easy Travler trailer. Set a route on Google using "Avoid Highways". That works pretty good. I do have a old school Ohio map, but not one for Kentucky. I found last time I really needed one, as panning out on a small phone looses all the smaller roads I wanted to see. Leaving Wed. the 3rd early, 9hrs to Paint Creek State park in Ohio- 2 nights there with some old Navy shipmates, then on Friday off to LFIII!!
