    Thanks cj. It's coming along.

Thanks, Craig! Cant wait to get it out there! I told Joey I'm shooting for next years roadster run...

I usually send the pictures from my phone via email to my computer. When you send it, you have the option to choose the size of the file. I just pick a smaller size to send. On an iPhone, you can change from 24MP to 12MP in settings. Drops the size from 3MB to 2MB. That could work, too.

Too much tech for a guy over 3/4 of a century old. I've been using my cell phone for all picture taking but I download all the pictures off my phone to files on my computer and then clear them off my phone so every day I start with a blank slate (much like my mind). I'll have to enlist the aid of a 12 year old.

I need opinions on this: I'm trying to decide how to paint (or even if I should paint) my headers and exhaust. Everything is steel except the couplers to the headers. I was thinking VHT silver, but I would like other ideas and opinions. For what it's worth, the car is black, the frame is black, and the engine block/pan, etc is black. The interior will not be black.

I use rustoleum barbecue black on the under car pipes if they are not aluminized. I have used Eastwood's stainless steel pigmented manifold paint, it held up ok for about a decade of sparse use on freshly blasted cast iron manifolds. It has nearly completely burned off and back to rusty manifolds after 9000 miles.

Put the car (mostly) back together to check out some things with body fit, pedals, and some other things. Also needed pictures for insurance purposes. It will come back off for more chassis work soon, but I have some days off so I'm trying to get as much done as I can. Almost feels like a car again. IMG_5062.jpg IMG_5063.jpg IMG_5064.jpg

    Fantastic! Looks/sounds great!

If you’r looking for a short cut to shrink your photos on your iPhone you can screen shot and crop your photo and it’ll be smaller file size.

Looking good, the Blockleys give it a bit different look (in a positive way).

I’m in Lincoln Nebraska today. I’m hoping my meeting tomorrow is short and I can go to the speed museum. Worth it? Seems like Speedway owns everything here.

Picked up a caravan middle seat yesterday in Cupertino. 20 bux. Probably not the final solution but it’s good enough for now IMG_5135.jpeg

Great score. Do you have the original riser in the car? If so those go in really easily.

Thanks, Joey. I do have the original riser. I'm hoping it's not too tall, but the seat bottom is pretty thin, so it may work out great! I'd like to use the riser so I can put my battery disconnect on the front like I did in my truck, and put some stuff under the seat to hide it.

Thanks! I am a skier. My latest ride (though it's several years old now) is a Radar Annex. Quite the hot rod of the slalom ski world. Turns on a dime and jumps out of the turn quick!
