1949-50’s and 55’s…the beauty rings and the years hub caps are repop’s available today under FMC authorization. 57-8 and 1960’s are not yet!

Checking the notches on those pistons as I installed bigger Manley valves it's going to be close so I'll have to clay the pistons to make sure

Repairing and modifying the radiator for the Dirt cheap Dart found a couple very small leaks.
Don’t laugh at my make shift pressure tester - OK laugh but it works.

Chandler is ok, nothing got to his inner ear. At least he was welding on his 51 Ford when it happened. We had to replace the front portion of the frame rails due to rust. He also wanted a Gasser style front bumper on it as we are installing a straight axle kit from Speedway.

Painted the engine bay of Wifeys TBird. I know it’s supposed to be body color but we still don’t know what color pink the car will be and I want to get the engine in before winter. Plus we ain’t restoring nothing around here…

 

And that's why you see welders wearing those stupid looking hats with the bill pulled down over one ear or the other. What size is his headbone? I've probably got half a dozen hats if he's around a 7 1/2.
