Locario Brothers Plymouth Desoto. 907 Enfield street, Enfield, CT. Early 50’s I believe.

This became Enfield Chrysler Plymouth in the early sixty’s and I worked there from 1993 till 2004.

How it looks today, became an independent after all the dealerships were closed in 2008/2009.

The house suffered a fire and was torn down. The remaining garage is still part of the current building.

how funny-looked like the far right corner was still vestiges of the house--but at least in a way this is better than otherwise

Such a great thread, I have to add something.
A Ford dealership pic was added and something in the front window caught my eye, and that was the Ford-A-Scope! These allowed customers to see filmstrips about the new Ford products!
How cool would it be to own one?!?!

Melford Motors, Melbourne, Oz. They must have been the largest Ford dealer in Melbourne. Building still exists, but now a Toyota dealership. Turntable still there, occasionally used with smaller cars on it. Last pic: the large FORD letters arranged vertically on the right are no longer there but it's possible to see partial outlines of some of those letters. Photos by Lyle Fowler's Commercial Photographic Company whose premises were close by. Pics courtesy of State Library of Victoria a18388 - 1.jpg a18390.jpg FL17420219.jpg is004586.jpg

Grilles and side trim are all appropriate for the models I see. The Vic on the end is tough to make out the “Fairlane” under the top bird.

Utter Pontiac in my hometown of Spokane, WA (circa 1960). The family who owned this dealership attended my church. They also owned the Cadillac dealership in town. I now own a 1960 Ventura 2DR HT, sibling of the Catalina Convertible shown here…
