You'll need a new air cleaner when you add a second carburetor.

Lol I'm at the mercy of Quick Performance. I called them yesterday and changed to a 3.89 ratio and 1/2 studs. But I don't think that changes anything on turnaround. He told me I'll recieve it in 4 packages, housing, axles, center section, and brakes. If i get the housing I'll be able to start, but my luck I'll get the brakes first lmao!

I took a closer look this morning, the left coilover is bent into a V lol. The left ladder bar bracket broke loose, saving the ladder bar.

Lack of lock washers or was alcohol involved?

No alcohol, can you believe that? 4500 clutch drop, twisted the right axle tube inside the center section, ripped the ladder bar bracket off the left side. It was epic! Helluva kick off to Lloydfest

  27. Chandler will be more than happy to do burnouts in his Ford. I hope he remembers that he has to drive it home!

Na, no sweat. I heard there was an auto transport guy there, Chandler could just drive Stubby and .... OK maybe not...

I learned very early not to do burnouts a long way from home. I was lucky and only broke the bell crank between the bell and the frame. I drove the 4 speed car 250 miles home, without being able to release the clutch. Pretty hard to drive it home if the rear end and driveshaft are both damaged.
Had to have one towed a few miles home after I took about 6 teeth off the ring gear, and all the teeth off the pinion gear once, that was painful. There were more, wish I could say I figured out early what was causing those failures, but at least I didn't have that problem on long trips, after that first long trip home. :D
