I went the year before last and had a great time! Who is going this year and are you going to compete or spectate? I might as well show up again this year!!

  2. Will likely try to catch at least one of the Budd’s Creek dates.

yeah, I'll be there, unrecognizable....see the off topic forum for more info.

they did away with the Hot Rod class, and there don't seem to be any Gasser class guys here on the HAMB. So I guess Drag Week has kind of made itself irrelevant to the traditional hot rodding crowd.

  13. Is @mcmopar running this year? Or @Hemi Joel ?

My brothers are spectating at Budds Creek today and tomorrow, if they send any hamb friendly pics I'll post them

I guess I'm a traditional rodder, but I follow drag week.
Of course I like the really quick cars, but I watch them all. I still like drag racing.

Really nice 33 Tudor spotted in the coverage with an OT engine.

It's even worse here in Australia. I went through the competitor list for the Aussie version of Drag Week and out of the 280+ entrants there was only one hot rod, a SBF powered , Jag IRS kitted center door T. He is always a serious competitor at any drag, go-whoa or driving event and it's driven to and from the events. The bulk of entrants for the event were Holden or Falcons from 1960 till they stopped production.

Cecil is my home track, about 20 minutes from my house. I'm going to try to get down there in the afternoon to spectate.
