I have replaced many axles in 10 and 12 bolt rear ends. Most in trucks and the big heavy cars. Lost count on how many rear ends I have worked on both daily driver a race car.

A welder/fabricator at QP used to be a regular on here. Dirtbag 13 was his handle, I think. He used to have a get together on his Dad's farm kind of like Lloydfest.

Lol customer cars take priority. I would stick that rear end back in it if I still had the leaf springs. I destroyed them.

Lol yes, yes I am. But the front bolts wouldn't come out, so the cutoff wheel was used.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D my intentions were to get the plasma out and remove the brackets, but I must've seen a squirrel run by or something. Keep in mind, we're not trying to win car shows over here lmao! Just an old hot rod. 20250910_123142.jpg

Lloyd maybe you could hire those guys to fix it to get you back on the road. Probably do it for 100 rupes.

Lloyd retired from the fire dept, not his auto body business!

  27. You showing me how a seat comes apart gave me the confidence to recover an old seat I have for Papaw. Dad had his seat recovered and the guy who did it overstuffed it and my belly rubs the steering wheel. I hope to recover the extra one with stock cushioning and maybe my belly won’t rub the wheel.
