Smaller steering wheel works amazing  I think i have a hub to fit that column, so you can use a 3 bolt wheel.

I did a bunch of work on a later GMC short box square body for a heavy driver. I used some 60/40 split front out of a later truck that was much thinner both back and bottom. Shorten the steering column also. Man do I get myself into some projects.:D

  3. Thank you so much! A smaller wheel is in my winter plans too. I was amazed at how much easier Ruckus steers than Papaw. I’ll look into narrower tires as well.

  4. Ruckus has all the weight on the rear for wheelies Andy!! I got the same problem with my belly in my 56. Another reminder I need to start getting stuff done. I think the seat track is rusted fast. Need a good set of buckets for it.

Are you running a stock wheel?

chryslerfan55, enloe and porkshop like this.
  6. No, it is a smaller wheel. I think the seat is stuck forward and I cant get it to move. Like I said I need to stop procrastinating and get stuff done.

I was chosen today... kept hearing a meow. Apparently someone donated a shop cat. If she hangs around, we'll give her a name. 20250911_180210.jpg

I always judge on the same level lol, if I was hungry and scared, I'd hope that somebody would help me. She let me pet her, we'll see if she's still there in the morning ;)

I had kinda the same situation here. Had a Mother Calico and 4 kittens living under the shed in the backyard. After a couple weeks, the Mother and 3 of the kittens were gone, leaving the runt to fend for itself. I didn't realize what happened at the time, but one evening when I let the dogs out, I heard the cries from under the shed and I knew what happened, so I grabbed some water and some food and fed her for a few days until she was comfortable around a humans. After the third day, I went to bring her more food and water, and I'll be damned if she didn't run up my pant leg and into my hands. If I wasn't so damn allergic to them, I would've kept her, but I gave her to my daughter, and now they're both happier than a Groung Hog in soft dirt.

OK brother, no more cat pictures. But she stuck around, she's the official mascot of my shop now. I named her dusty. Got an email last night from QP that my order has shipped, tracking shows it at my house on Monday. We'll see what they sent. I've got my fingers crossed.

  21. Even if the center section is shipping later, you can get started putting the rest together and you will have a roller.

does the tracking info tell you how heavy the pkg is? Sometimes the Fedx and UPS tracking gives that info??
