Hot Rods Anyone ever seen these?

Never seen anything like that. Dangerous idea it seems, putting your finger through a hole on a steering wheel, a blow out and you'd be down to nine digits.

 

Looks like they could go on a spoke steering wheel? Just a guess

 

Kinda what i think, also. I haven't googled a 36 Chevy steering wheel to see what it looks like looks like. . . Someday. . .

 

I believe those were “give-aways” from gas stations in more rougher neighbourhoods! A similar thing as glassware etc. except they develop into a complete set of brass/chrome knuckles....

 

Could be. My gramps was a Kendall Motor Oil salesman. . .

 

Looking at the other views, looks like maybe cables or something attached to them.
I'm thinking they have no affiliation with steering wheel.

 

I don't really know. They were in a box with a note that said they were from gramps 36 Chevy. Also had 2 round inserts that said went to the window crank. Maybe he adapted them to fit his car. . .

 

Looking at the wheel, I could see them attaching to the spokes possibly.
