That's quite the pair. Cal plates, wonder if it's a Roadsters member and can be ID'ed?

The rolling stock on the Green one stands out. The steering outside the header is interesting.

I guess I'm showing my age but I seem to remember those ads in Hot Rod magazine when I was in my mid to late teens. Under $400 for a complete deluxe kit including the chassis..... Wow, how times have changed!

I know that Steel rebel had the same setup.
He removed the upper coolinghose and filled until it start to flood.
Then he quikly put the hose back and clamped it.

Thanks @Outback and @twenty8 , yes I've still got the T in the shed and never had any problems with a bubble in the cooling system. The no fan/small radiator is definitely not suited to city driving but living in the country it's OK. That version has the Weiand 4 barrel but the car is now back to the original Edelbrock tri-power which I found and purchased 36 years after I sold it in 1967. Sold it for $160 and cost me $600 to buy it back LOL

That's a great story! I remember seeing you roll into the 03 Geelong Nats, it was mind blowing to see your bucket.
Was your bucket the first in Australia? @swifty

No @Outback, I don't think it was the first but it was one of the early ones. Was in the 1965 Melbourne Hot Rod Show and the Mitchell Brothers had their "Surf Buggy" T there.
Re the 2003 Geelong Nationals Corey had his roadster there and I had the T. Wife and I were cruising around and came upon Corey talking to his friend Boris Viscovik ( Street Machine Mag). Anyway Boris wanted a ride in the T so wife gets out and we cruise the track. Steve Coonan was there at that Nationals and he took a rear pic of Boris and I cruising and used it in his story on the event. Boy, was the wife mad!!! She reckoned she should have been in the pic. LOL
Boris in those days was called the "Rod Rider" He never owned a rod but rode in lots.
