Headed out to Drag Week tomorrow morning. Did it last year loading everything in the car, trying it with a trailer this year. Total of about twenty miles since I got the trailer done, 1000 mile drive to get there. What could go possibly go wrong?

Left at nine this morning, 450 miles down today, but it took two hours to get through Indianapolis. Not doing that again on the way home. Two days to go the last 550 miles,I can take it easy. What are you bringing Jim? The vette?

Long drive today. But we made it to where there are trees.

Best of luck to you guys!!
Cecil County is my home track, about 20 minutes from my house. That Thursday is my last day at my current job, so I'm going to try to sneak out around noon and head down to spectate.

I'll be on the lookout for that Cherokee, I don't imagine it will be too hard to find!

Only 250 miles away tonight. My nephew flew to Washington DC and is waiting to play navigator for the week. I didn't tell him that he has to lift all the heavy crap. Photo of a gas stop today. PXL_20250912_172302396.jpg

I got here about 4:30. 1070 miles. 22 minutes from the track. I think I'm right across the road from Jim.

There is a metal bar through the center of wheels and a very sturdy mount on trailer.
Really don't even need the straps.

All the folks on the wait list got in. I think a few over 400 cars total.

So we'll go racing in the morning. I think motortrend youtube channel has the live feed again?

How did the track feel? I zipped thru the video and saw a low six pass, I'd guess well prepped.
Are you happy with Cheep's run?

Seems it's gripping too much for some fast cars

    We're on the road now

Good Luck and safe travels to both of you.
    I met Squirrel in person!
We were admiring the Plymouth too. Didn't realize it was another Hamb members car.

I'm still here and running. I got in the twelves the first day, a little slower today. No major problems just some minor glitches. If you've never done this the drives are the hard part. Lots of traffic, road construction, and directions that don't always match reality. Still lots of fun.

If it has not rained @ Maple , track going to be grippy also , unless they have scraped since Sunday night

Looks like we'll probably be able to run in the morning, but with the constant threat of rain. Should be fun...and nerve wracking, as usual.

    Good news.

12’s haunt me. I can get 13.2 out of the avatar, but need more converter for lower.

    Have fun :)

    cheers,
