Customs Model a interior

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Dennis and Tammy, Sep 18, 2025.

  1. Can someone tell me the typical material used for interior of model a cars. Its obviously been redone but very similiar to the original. Not a vinyl and not smooth but almost like velvet but not. Very confusing I know…. Help? Thanks

Could be again. Buy goats, rent them out to southern municipalities to eat down the damned Kudzu that's taking over everywhere. Money coming in from the goat rental, money coming in from the goat hair. It's a win-win!;)

If I can get my scanner up and running in a few days, I will post the complete sample sheets for the Standard Model A Ford Closed Car Fabric Selection that was offered from LeBaron Bonney Company while they were still in business. They are actual sample fabrics that are likely as close to original as was ever available.
There are 8 different samples shown for 1929 to 1931 Ford models. There were two available materials for the rumble seats as well as two versions of roof material. My scanner refused to capture these.

I managed to get this one page scanned. Click to enlarge the images. Scan_20250919.png
