    Hello,

This old hot rod truck is not our normal type of old car. It seems to be well put together, but it was lacking fenders that we like more so than open wheeled version. But, then there are more things to worry about than an open wheel truck sitting low on a busy street.

My wife was again, the one to spot a “old hot rod” up ahead. It stood out along the curb that was full of modern cars and actually stood out. The color was hard to spot on an overcast day. Later on, when we drove by on another day, the sun was out and the dark grey color looked good.

It is/was hard to spot, despite being an old hot rod, due to the color being a popular one on even the newer modern cars. Black, white, grey are the standard choices of most new cars and this old hot rod was in a line of "other" cars and trucks in a row.

We normally have a preference for full-fender old hot rods as normal everyday drivers. No one likes to be behind an open wheel/no fenders style of hot rod. The flying road debris is always the case when following these styles of builds.

On our coastal drives, there is sand as one gets closer to the actual beach, if the sand is almost level with the road. So, any open wheel hot rod or high lifted truck is constantly throwing anything on the road at the following cars or motorcycles... YRMV
