Just picked this up today. It's solid except for the quarter extensions basically. Somebody did a lot of the hard work already. I unloaded it and came home. I'll post more pictures of what they've done later on. Kinda excited about the remnants of a small block Chevy that's in it. The old guy i bought it from said he has no idea what it is...... I think I do 20250922_140827.jpg 20250922_140838.jpg 20250922_161132.jpg 20250922_162558.jpg 20250922_164823.jpg 20250922_164834.jpg 20250922_140813.jpg

  2. Did Dave go with you to pick it up? It looks great! So, are we running a schedule next year?? It’s looking like I better find a job down there. Tonya is already looking at houses.

Lol no he stopped at the shop while I was unloading. This car will get the engine pulled tmrw evening, and rolled around behind the building. Gotta take a block to Jamie and have it bored. Then I'll sit around and wait on some good heads to fall into my lap lol. C'mon over to Kentucky man, you know you're welcome here

Ford shoulda radiused those rear wheel wells from the factory. Think how many more they'd have sold!

What is front suspension from? Check installed properly. Start to think about frame & roll bar to hold it all together. What rear & traction set up. Got to love a falcon gasser

It's a Chevy truck front axle with a disc brake kit. Has a Vega steering box. The rear looks to be an 8.2 10 bolt on leaf springs. I bought the car to flip. But we'll see. It's got a 1969 300hp 350 shortblock in it. Flat top pistons. I have another 350 on a stand that I can build. A local drag racer has a complete 355 with 186 heads, dome pistons, that he built for his nephews drag truck, but the boy sold the truck rolling, I'm going to look at it tonight, along with a rear end, and maybe a th350 with a 3000 converter. Not sure where I'm gonna go with the car yet. But I'm not ashamed to say that whoever built it, did a better, more technical job than I would've done lol

Wish I could find something that cool. Anytime I stumble on anything it’s a 4 door sunk half in the ground.

Cool find there Lloyd. Those are fairly light weight but I heard they are hard to find parts for. That there looks mostly complete. Should be a quick flip.

That’s usually my problem. Between bills and beer, I don’t have a lot left at the end of the week lol.

I picked up a 355 short block this evening, small domes, probably .125, a th350 out of his Malibu drag car, all tricked out, and a rear end. Might be some late nights this winter :D

JW Ultrabell, manual valve body, TCI street fighter. Depending on what heads i come up with, and the gear, I really hope it would run quicker than 13's

Lloyd , check the steering box mount . I could not see it clearly in the images . It looked as if it may need slight attention . Could have been the images also . Be safe , My Friend

Hell I admired the way they did the box lol. I'm not sure what you're seeing in the pictures I posted. It's on top of the left frame rail. It's a Vega box. The drag link is small in diameter, but they made a gusset that runs the length of it. When I get time to go out and mess with it I'll get pictures of how they did everything.

I like it! I’ve always had a soft spot for falcons. My grandad drove one for many years.
