Trying to find my long lost 55 Buick, please help it was my grandfather’s car. Sold it because my wife had breast cancer, last post on here was from lunatic 715, in 2014 for sale, please help, desperately want her back, I have a super nice 37 dodge d-5 I’d be willing to trade
I like a story with a happy ending like that. Now to find that damned car. Can you tell us about any special markings or repairs to help us spot it?
It’s a 55 century with 57 tail lights, 54 headlight bezels and grill. Has the old naked lady hood ornament, converted to open drive no torque tube, rest is original. 322 dynaflow driver door glass is cracked

I’m so glad to hear that your wife is doing fine! My wife rang the bell on her breast cancer 3 years ago and even having to do the mammograms every 6 months she’s a happy camper and doing great. That is a beautiful car and I didn’t notice the custom touches until you mentioned them. Barry Lobeck always told me you did a good job whenever you don’t see the modifications right off unless you’re parked next to the original version and then you can compare. To him everything needs to flow seamlessly. I really hope you can get the car back!
I hope you find your car Eddie. Your wife beating cancer AND finding your car would be a very happy ending to a bad period in your life.
It’s worth a shot. With that said, I see this often. Maybe it’s time to let it go. Now that time is a memory. Gone are the dents and the never ending list. Gone is the complacency of owning an old car. Gone are all the negatives. Now it’s….. “Let me tell you about my old Buick. My grandfather…….” It served it’s purpose and it’s a touching story. Maybe you need to find another. Maybe it’s time to make new stories with another one.
