Has anyone used one of these adapters. What king if horse power and I expect with a mildly built 350?

Probably the same or less than a stock Rochester 2 barrel. :)

    Stromberg 97s are 250 CFM?
    X 2
500 CFM will support 300+ HP

a stromberg 97 flows something like 175 cfm I think the new "big 97's" have 250 cfm's. so 2 are 350 cfm or at best 500

Grand total, that is alot of money to spend with carbs, adapter and what not to loose probably 30% of the horsepower you have now for the Bubba factor of 2 Strombergs if you currently have any style of 4 barrel on it.

I ran 48’s ( 180 CFM ) . I used those spacers. It was never about horsepower. It was about the look.

Since JJJMM was asking about horsepower the rest of us are under the belief that he actually thinks 2 97's on a small block will give him a horsepower gain for his 550 or so investment. Yes I added it up and a 130 dollar adapter and two 160 buck Speedway carbs comes to 450 then you add two air cleaners and linkage and fuel lines with that other hundred. His call there on the if looking cool is more important than all around performance. I've got two 2 barrels for my flathead and like you could give a rip about how much performance I'll get because I want it to look like a real hot rod engine With that one looks are everything.

@hrm2k A real 3x2 manifold is way better looking than that fake 2x2 set-up.

I used the adapter and 2 Holley 2100s on the 350 in my '36. It pulled good up to MAYBE 3500 rpm then fell flat on its face. The set up looked good but performance wise...it was replaced with an Edelbrock 4 bbl on an NOS Winters Z28 manifold. Mitch

I am sure that he is saying yours being a real 3x2 is better than what the OP is wanting to run...

My eye caught what looks like the individual adaptors under each carb in his post. My fault on that.

The adaptor will be the restrictor, air velocity will really be slow making two quick 90* turns.

Offenhauser made the original version of this adapter in the 1950s, presumably for people who thought that you just couldn't do better than running Stromberg 97s on an intake that was made to use one of the "new technology" four barrel carburators.

If not using / running a single carb
    Even number's better then Odd # .
Back around 2010ish some how I contacted one of old Engineers for
Mopar spent quite a long time on phone with , I was told when They where research ,engineering and development of OEM 3 carbs set up $$$ was put into
3 carbs by Mopar , & Gm way more
$ then aftermarket spent in Development & Research Unless Factory backing or Serious race team The development.
The 3 carb set up's if not on What was
Design for Just did not work
Performance wise and as intended on a Non 3 carb set up Unless all parts used , Not just carbs & intake ..
Then going back to 30's Race Engineers,
Engines builder figured out the more air fuel cfm's that you could give the engine
Air pump , more hp ,,
Back then , Technology was not there for big carburetors So Multi carburetors used. Since mid 50s bigger carbs started arriving , This also kind of carried over to MFI , One butterfly per
Cylinder / runner .. & as information was being seen , heard of ( Not Internet)
Finding out , different cylinders need more fuel then others.
Not all intakes even today look same
Make the same power , from idle to cruise to WOT ,,
The engine , air pump , can go down a Big rabbit hole ,
1 heat rang can loose or make power
Different heat rang on different cylinder.
There some eye open things you can see
    On dyno

Look's is one thing , Performance and working another.
