Thumbing through noticed that porknbeaner has not been here since Sept 24 , 2024.

 

@Tim gives an update on him now and again.

 

@Tim talked to him Sept 22 25...so he's around...I'm not on as much myself so I can say I understand now that sometimes we just step back for a bit. Hope he is well.

@porknbeaner hope your having a great time out there...

 

Yeah I miss seeing him on here all the time.

 

Stogy, you should be on more often, I enjoy your posts. Your never offensive and provide real world guidance.

 

I give him credit for introducing me to the zz top video- gotts to get paid. Hope he is elbow deep into his latest project- 1940 chev? Also missing X38. I am sure there are others.

Thank you Rod, thank you All! This place is like no other. Every time I get on here greatness abounds...so much going on...a great bunch you are, the comradry and skills are seemingly endless. The icing on the cake is the Vintage past we celebrate today...

 

He is taking a sabbatical.

I miss him but he is doing what he has to do. HRP

 

Why hasn't anyone inquired about @wbrw32? He was last seen 8-24-2020, I remember him as a quite fisty older gentleman who seemed quite angered by many of the new members that posted in the Introduction section.

 

Sometimes the heat takes its toll or as we all know we are aging and interests drift around. I have taken a step back but not for the greatness that abounds here...I have seen many come and go and many times return...I do think of them as you do. Ole @porknbeaner is one of them...So it's good to hear he's just out and about...

 

Porknbeaner, Justlouvers, Blowby, they all are missed. I understand the need to get away though. I like it here, but I've weaned myself from Youtube and Facebook, anything that has a tuned "feed", and my mood and attitude have improved. I think I'm better off with my head in the sand.

 

Bob could get wound up but he was also a good guy, I miss his banter.

He is 91 now, he may have health problems, Bob lives in Jefferson,Texas. Danny

 

Those words hit home with me nowadays.

 

Thats what I'm talking about, he reminded me of an angry Walmart greater!

 

Next time you talk to him, tell him I said "hi". would you?

 

Good to hear Ol’ Beaner is ok. I do hope he’s doing stuff he likes to do and not dealing with the unfortunate things that start popping up as we get older.
Like many of us, I haven’t been on here as regularly as I used to be. I don’t do YouTube or instagram but selling some of my unneeded stuff on Marketplace has robbed a portion of my HAMB/internet time. This is still the best use of internet time in my opinion and this thread is a good example of why.
