Found these change banks today. Jensen's was a station a mile down the road that I used to ride my bicycle to as a kid in the 1960's

Yesterday at Carlisle I picked up this checkered flag air cleaner. Its for the older style 4 barrels, small base hole.

    It cleaned up nicely.
The chrome screen is not only attractive, it can be left in place with the filter removed for ''competition''.

Picked up a perfect door from another vendor.

Got this "ship in a bottle" at a rummage sale, but the ship is an old car made of business cards. Really had to pay up for this one, though.

Then there's this gem. Your 50's Mopar might have an under-dash record player, or your bubbletop show rod might have a TV and a rotary phone in it. But have you ever seen a 12 volt automobile toaster? The box says it'll make "fruit filled tarts", good to know.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be mounted under the dash like this but I love the idea of loading a waffle into it like a CD player.

    ^Very cool!
I'm picturing a commuter with a shaver, coffee maker and now toaster fumbling in the car and wreaking havoc on the highways!

once saw a guy driving with his knees in the morning,
eating a bowl of what i assume was cereal at 55 mph in traffic. had to back off slightly to get another look to be sure i was really seeing that.

Hope you picked up a couple extra of those at that price. :p It always gets my attention to see something priced that way. It reads like 5/100ths (or 1/20th) of one cent! All you need is a 5 and a cent sign. Though I reckon most folks don't know what a "¢" is anymore.

Rewire it with a couple of USB charging ports and stick your phone, MP3 player or GPS in there for charging!
    ;)

Found this this morning at a yard sale. I first thought it was a hand held Unity spot light. Then I saw the 110 plug. I've never seen one like this. Plugged it in and it's bright as hell. Plus the cord isn't all rotted. Don' know what I'll do with it since I certainly don't need it but I just had to have it.

Picked up this '60's AMT '55 Nomad. Everything is present, even the metal axle. Chrome rear, fenderwell headers, pie crusts, wow! Building models as a kid and handling the individual pieces contributed heavily to my present day parts, uh, collecting..

Yard sale last week, best thing she had, otherwise it was old clothes and kitchen gadgets.
