Anyone know the current whereabouts of this one? I remember seeing it at kkoa events back in the late 90s. This picture may have been from Hangin Dice in Ft. Smith, Ar.

I entered my car in this show back in 1964. I threw out the trophy but kept this poster and the show program with Ed Roth's autograph on the cover. There is no mention of 'lowriders' on the poster, but 'glamorous customs' is listed. The cars in the program had an abundance of Watson painted examples. 1fa3074c-99d3-413f-97d3-4cafbe3a8b7a.jpg

    And I’ve had numerous
    Lowriders
    Kustoms
And Hot Rods love them all…..
And lowriders DO belong on here

putting Astro Supremes on a custom does not make it a lowrider. lowering a car does not make it a custom, though there are a buttload of lowered cars in the custom photo thread, which should be in the mild custom thread.

so a 69 Chevelle with mags and a tunnel ram is a custom? not in my world.

  15. Sure is. Hot rods, race cars, street rods, lowriders, lifted, squatted…whatever isn’t stock is a custom build.

Restored cars are just customs built to OE specs :)
A hot rod is a custom build

google images does not agree. it agrees even less when you search "50's custom cars". half the cars are chopped Mercs.
"the world is bigger than here", but we are here, and here custom cars are are not just any car with any modification or none at all.
"strike" means different things to a bowler, a baseball player, a Union worker and a gold miner. same with custom
