Technical Headlight switch and wiring

Update #2: After I wired in the new headlight-taillight switch, still didn't have turn signals. Took the old turn signal switch apart, it was kind of worn out but that wasn't it. Figured the turn signal switch was toast, so I invested in a new Signal Stat 900. Got that hooked up according to the schematic and would you believe it, no turn signals. Took all the turn signal wiring connections apart and ran a hot jumper wire to each one. Yep, they're all running to the right wires coming out of the switch. Called Signal Stat tech support and the tech asked me if I had a good ground. He said if I didn't, I wasn't going to like his next suggestion. He said to scrape the paint off of the steering column under where the clamp that holds the switch to the column goes, so while I was on the phone with him, I did just that. While I was cycling the signals, I don't know who was laughing the loudest, him or me. Nice people that work for Signal Stat.

Now, I've got to put the seat back in.

Thanks, but it's never-ending. Put a new heater fan motor in about a year ago, went to wire it up today and it doesn't work. Starting to feel like Li'l Abner's buddy, Joe Btfsplk
