I am going to order a CVR Proflo water pump, an electric unit that bolts in the stock location.

Hi Marty. Been revisiting your thread for some ideas, didn’t remember your 4-speed internals picture. I’ve got a T10 that has been modified just like that, maybe even by Doug Nash, as it came out of a drag car. It had reverse removed, and I collected all of the parts to put reverse back in as well as a new case because it had also been shortened. I have a question for you or anyone else who might know. Will a transmission modified this way tolerate limited street use? Otherwise I’ve got to keep collecting parts to get it back together. BTW it’s a 2.20 low gear.

20 RP 4.jpg 20 RP 4.jpg While making preparations for our trip to GNRS with the Top Banana, I have been slowly ***embling the 29 RPU. I had never set the painted and lettered hood on until today. Very pleased with Mitch Kim's work, as always. The Bad 1, is from a memory in 1962, when my brother Tom (the artist in the family) drew a race car, and wrote Bad 1 on the hood

Not sure about the durability of the T-10, my experience is with Toploader Fords.

Never had a problem with mine up to 210 MPH in my Street Roadster. Seems I remember that we removed the rear gear and gave the back bearing a screw shot every meet. I'd bought the cheapest shifter that Pep Boys had ($100?) and it ran okay. I later shipped the shifter back to a guy in the Caroliners that serviced NASCAR cars. Man, what a difference!

Marty......after faithfully following all your build projects......I would argue that your brother Tom was not the only "artist" in your family ! Keep up the great work.
