if you remove your cowl lights from your 1932 ford you don't have to weld your holes shut or do body work any longer.Allen VerSchave AVS FABRICATION AND AVS MOTOR SPORTS IN OCEANSIDE make nice stainless bolt on plugs ( you can also paint) to fill your cowl light holes.if you decide to ever put the lights back on just unbolt the plug.
On one of the Wayne Carini shows, I saw them on a '32 three window he was looking at. Kind of easy to fabricate your own.
Great idea ! I thought that I had seen something similar a few years ago, so maybe someone else has made them in the past or maybe they were homemade. Would like to see photos of them on the car (from a distance) if possible. Thanks for posting ! I made the mistake of drilling mine out to fit cowl lights, the idea was to use the cowl lights as indicators for our stricter regulations, but cowl lights don’t always look right on a high-boy. I have considered doing the above ‘plug’ type thing, but then leaving the holes open also says hot rod in my mind. Now I have either option, thanks.
My cowl lights were in wrong location and always bothered me.the holes are covered now no body no paint.my car was painted in 1963 and wanted to keep patina.AVS cowl light bolt on plugs are great
