I added day zero, Bailey says there’s 70 gassers! Here’s day one, there’s 50 gassers doing this drag and drive! Here’s day two I will go back and find day one it’s pretty cool, the Hotrod Hoarder is covering it also.
Ive been hoping to see some of that 34 Ford pickup in action, but been fun watching the action of the gassers running.
Maybe he’s got some other cars here, it’s from day one. I now the little green Falcon gasser from the site is on this video.
I’ve noticed that corporate America has been getting more involved with the drag n drives, Edelbrock is actually sponsoring this event and has a car in it. Blueprint engines has a car in it as well it was in drag week also.
I saw it on a YouTubers video last night I believe it was parked, I’ve watched everything I’ve posted and I can’t remember seeing it anywhere else.
Mike Finnegan wins the gas class I running 5.38 was the quickest and 5.50 average He said it was his fifth drag and drive of the year. If you look at the videos you can see some of the cars from the HAMB on the track and on the road
I must admit I have much respect for Mike Finnigan and is car BLASPHEMI, he started with a vision of the 55 from Two Lane Black and all gassers from the sixties. The first Hemi came from David Fryberger, and It’s been a long term project he’s run Drag Week a few times winning in 2019. The 55 is capable of 8.50 quarters and he ran 5.38 times in the eighth this week which would be a close a 8.20 in the quarter. He’s been through a number of Hemis a different transmission combinations but always a manual. He’s reworked both front and rear suspension to make everything work You have two admit winning three out five drag n drives this year is pretty cool even if it is a*****ed over rebuilt Chevy.
