It's what I've predicted based on rearward weight bias, wide rear spring base, and as yet poor understanding of lateral weight transfer vs. spring rates. There was a theory then current about why a lot of camber on the front helped for that, but it turns out it was wrong.
They thought it was about road crowns. Road crowns were something of an obsession then. It was actually about counteracting weight transfer to the outside rear tyre. But that is vraiment ma tasse de thé!
