History Lost History for Future Generations

Second....has anyone...ANYONE seen these before? They are absolutely old (especially based on the packaging), but I tried the Googlenater and come up with nothing at all. Any thoughts?

 

Third, and lastly.

There was a set of four CRAGAR chrome "stock" rims that Nertz ran on his Shoebox for years. They were on a shelf, and I tried in vain to replace the bolts that hold the center in with Grade 8 bolts and lock washers. Well, I put them on my one 56 Ford, and the nuts on the inside hit the drums and rotors. I'm guessing the 50 Ford had a smaller diameter drum and rotor than the 56? I suppose if I had a small fortune, I could have a tire shop somehow rivit, balance, and seal these inserts to run them. Then again, they would look cool on the shelf and be less expensive!

 

do you think if those were rivets they'd clear?

 

That's what I'm thinking. The problem I found was that any tire/rim shop local was only interested in maybe riveting them, but had no interest in making sure they are balanced, and/or capable of holding air afterwards.

 

I dont know anything about those spinner bars, but i dig em!

As a little follow up from my post in this thread last year when i was actively helping 2 different households go through parts and save stuff,
first one is a little off topic but hoping this survives, the chevelle that belonged to my friend's dad who passed and she had grown up cruising with him in, but had been off the road since the 90s. Brought it back to my garage, rebuilt it and got it back together for her last year, and she's now cruising around in!
The '29 Tudor we excavated from a basement last year, that another friend's cousin was building when he passed, now yard driving, but needs a few little leaks fixed and some new tires, but its a blast!
And the old "roadster" body that was stashed under a deck, along with a 59A and some axles, suspension, etc, is starting to resemble something in my back room! its a good feeling getting some stuff back out there! updated pictures in the quoted message

 

No idea on the spinners but the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw them was WWII and the US Army Air Corps or RAF. How do they attach?
