I thought about skirts but like the funny little wheel openings better.... and this car was made for no running boards! :)

Hey Unclebrad now that I've looked at it for a bit, it looks like it has too much silver. Do you think you could leave the top silver then bring that silver down where you put the black before then put black on the bottom where you had the lower silver. If it's too much do worry about it. By the way I love your truck in your avatar.

Not my car, but I'm building one. Can somebody move the fender side trim to the door, and move the Vent-A-Ports to where the fender trim was? On the rear of the fender, in line with the side trim. TIA

I know you asked for traditional, but here is something not quite traditional, just for fun.
Hopefully someone will give you true traditional.

Thanks. That was what I was thinking. Might look better with the door trim shortened more. I'm running a Nailhead, so I thought the portholes would be cool, but I'm not so sure.

    Hello,

The color of the flames needed a little highlighting and made to stand out more. Also, your coupe needed to be by itself with no bothersome background cars or "stuff." I have always liked a good purple color on a coupe.

A friend, back in the teenage cruising days, had a 1946 Ford Coupe that was the only purple coupe in all of So Cal at the time. He was the one of the only teenagers that ventured below the border to get all white tuck and roll upholstery one Thursday morning. Yes, we did not go to school that day, but during the week, there was an opening for the time consuming full upholstery job. So, we stayed all day, wandering around the town and going down to the beach area.

When the job was finished, it looked wonderful. The white upholstery made the color purple stand out more. Back in Bixby Knolls hang out parking lots, the overhead lights made the white tuck and roll stand out from across the parking lot. The view looked like a show car we usually saw at the local car shows. But, it was his daily driver to school and work. YRMV

The shortened door trim helps. How about no side trim?

    Hello,

I was fiddling around with a normal photo program. Here is the result of my fiddling...

The removal of the side trim makes it look so much better. Also, removing those fake Buick portholes was necessary. It is not a Buick. YRMV

In a real life photo presentation, a darkened set of windows goes a long way to improve the overall look. The flames are nicely done, not too overpowering, yet distinct.

Yes, it's not a Buick, but the reason is because mine will be running a '63 401.

Here are a couple more, both without the trim spear. One has no portholes and one with the portholes moved up to the hood.

Hey guys, could somebody please do a ’59 Buick Invicta Wgn. into a 2dr. model. I know what a
Chevy 2dr. looks like, but I’m trying to see what a Buick would look like. I have both a 2dr. sedan
and an Invicta Wgn. The 2dr. needs a complete floor and a whole lot of work, but the doors and rockers etc. are solid and a good donor car to make the Wgn. a 2dr. one- of- none. My wagon has the stainless around the perimeter of the roof. Sorry for the no pictures. Thanks in advance….DoUg

Thanks for that Unclebrad, but Buick didn’t make a 2dr. wagon. In doing a little bit of research, I came across a couple of custom built examples. I didn’t realize (shouda’ known someone would have) that
there would be one or two out there. The example that you presented has some styling cues that I plan on using, but a lot more traditional albeit a little customized. DoUg

Could someone please try this T coupe with the Torque Thrusts and the Coke bottle rims for comparison.
    Thanks in advance.
