  1. SBCs are made for flathead compartments

    The flathead is unstuck lol. And with a little instruction from Tim @51504bat , the starter now works. Engine is cranking good. Pulled the distributor to clean points and bam, one of the breaker points has a broken spring :mad: where is the best place to buy this stuff?

    Nope, all of those parts houses are gone around here. Seen a set on Bob drakes sight, but i know Nothing about this stuff. Hate like hell to buy points so that I can find out that the coil is bad lol. Seen the electronic setup, but everything is 2 bolt, mine is 3 bolt, and they're outrageous. I just wanna hear it run lol.

    I’d rather buy it with a stuck flathead than a sbc..

    Who needs 2 sets of points? Try it with 1 set where the secondary points would be located.
