Yes for sure. I'm not sure if other states did this as well but when I saw the plate I wanted it. I actually had to unbolt it from the wall but it was worth it.

@Moriarity Would that fuse display hold the yellow boxes of fuses? I have a bunch of them and might be able to help you fill that thing. Let me know if they are correct and I will send them to you... Free...

A junkyard trip this weekend netted me my all time favorite steering wheel, '60 Dodge, albeit not in the best condition. Still, will be a great one to add to the collection. Got a few other bits too but the car I went there to look over was gone, I try not to hesitate when I find something I can use in the junkyard, since you never know when it'll disappear.

A glimpse of the awesome haul I got recently, and a quick shot of some of the highlights.

The Lincoln steering wheel is unfortunately very poor, but it's one I've wanted for a very long time. Wish I had a horn ring or ****on to go with it, but at least I have a core now.

1952 Texaco pamphlet, possibly an internal company item. Check out the stacks of Firestones!
Notice the one on top has white letters with the name facing the front. Just by chance.
