I'll leave the t***el fringe alone for now, and let it continue falling apart.

Got the registration and insurance taken care of this morning. Played with the gas tank, it had about a gallon of slightly bad gas in it, I added a gallon of fresh gas, and drained it, then put in another 4 gallons of fresh gas. I borrowed the old battery from the Volvo. It started up and runs pretty well. Went for a little drive to the gas station. Drives like a dream! Seller said he needed to work on the clutch, as it chattered. I guess letting it sit for several years cured it, at least temporarily, because it works fine for me.

    Clutch?
I thought that thing had an automatic, what it needs is a 430 Lincoln and a four speed!

How many cars have you sold and bought back? I don’t think I’ve ever done that. I thought about it a couple of times but it never worked out.

Nope, won't work. They only make metric windshields.

Oh, kind of, but not quite. The "new" hood on mine is the same color as that one, but the rest of it is mostly different. They're both 4 door Rangers with the 292, which was the most common 59 Edsel made.

compare the data tags, nothing matches.
