  2. Foxes hangout on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria , Australia. 1950's/60's. If i remember somewhere out behind "Arthurs Seat" Red-Hill area. Thats where dad took us to collect firewood out of the bush. Allways a extra to stop and look at the foxes. Just see the front of a 1958 FC Holden. Heres a pic of a FC loaded with Nasco accessories.

20251130_154310.jpg 20251130_154301.jpg Was leaving the shop last Sunday , stopped to fuel up the C10....this pulled up next to me and I knew exactly what it was. A Brazilian Chevy Opala. The owner swapped in an LT4

  5. Very nice, well done with the photos. Heres the big 6 cyl Euro Opel Commodore . Same body. Not to be confused with the Aussie Monaro which is slightly bigger .

A Dutch mate at work has an early '70s Admiral, with the 4-speed manual box. Same type of 6-cylinder Opel box that was used in HT and LC Holdens (not the 4-cylinder version we got in HRs and HKs). Thought it would be cheaper to get him a box overhaul kit from home, but turns out I would need to sell both kidneys. Much cheaper in Germany.

    Cheers,

  7. The big square Admiral also came with a Chevy V8. Late 70's and into the 1980's there was the Oddball Opel Monza here with a 3 litre 6 cyl. I had a few op those. In the late 1990's early 2000 the Monza was a cheap secondhand used car. I believe at that time there were a few used bodies sent to Australia to convert to Holden Commodore V8 fastbacks.
